LSU Defensive Back Behind Bars

LSU defensive back, Jalen Mills, now faces charges after being arrested on Wednesday. East Baton Rouge Prison records indicate that Mills was arrested due to second degree battery charges.
These charges arose after allegations of an assault were brought to the police. A woman had visited Mills’ apartment in May because she was under the impression that her friend was at Mills’ apartment.
After knocking, Mills’ answered and the woman reported he slammed the door in her face. After the first encounter, she knocked again. This time she turned and walked down the hall. After hearing voices behind her she turned around, and claims this is when she was struck by Mills. She reported that she sustained injuries that required stitches.
As for now, LSU team officials report that Mills has been suspended indefinitely due to the arrest.
