Do I Have To Go To Court For A Personal Injury Claim?

A lot of times people call me up and they’ve gotten involved in a car accident, a boat accident, a truck accident and they say I don’t want to sue, I don’t want to go to court. Well, hopefully we don’t want to sue, either, certainly it’s someone else’s fault that you got injured, they’re going to be willing to pay for your damages. And there’s several different types of damages that they can pay, but hopefully what we do is we don’t automatically sue.

If you get into a car accident and the person has XYZ insurance and what we do is we file a claim, we want their insurance company that person to pay for your medical treatment, your pain and suffering and any other exposure they have to make you as whole as possible. And if they’re unwilling to do that then we will take them to court, we will sue them. Whether or not eventually you will have to go to court as a witness most probably. You may have to be subjected to a deposition or two, but we try to guide you through that process and make it as easy as possible because you’re the one that’s been injured in this situation so you need help and we’re here to help you.

"I contacted Bloom Legal out of the blue with a strange question for a fiction series I’m writing that takes place in New Orleans. Being from Maryland I was in the dark and needed assistance and they jumped at the chance to help me (they were the only law firm that responded to my e-mail). His team worked quickly and carefully to find the information I needed. Because of the help they provided it changed a large aspect of my novel and for that I am very grateful."
