Off-Duty NOPD Officer Arrested for DWI in Gretna

An off-duty NOPD officer from the 4th District was arrested Wednesday for DWI in Gretna. The vehicle was noted driving erratically and hit a curb popping a tire on Stumpf Blvd. Once the officer approached the vehicle NOPD Officer Lindy Collins was speaking incoherently and was arrested for suspicion of drunk driving.
Officer Lindy Collins was placed on emergency suspension without pay for the issue.
