Britney Spears’ Femme Fatale tour is storming through New Orleans tonight with her newest batch of dance hits. New Orleans is not hosting the tour's opening night, like it did for Spears’ Circus tour, but the same over the top theatrics should be on display. [caption id="attachment_2227" align="alignright" width="300"] Photo Courtesy of americannoise.com[/caption] Spears has a crew of opening acts that fit their femme fatale billing. Nervo and Jessie & the Toy Boys are both women-led acts that serve up synth-heavy dance music in the same vein as their headliner. The only act to step out of the dance pop mold is Nicki Minaj who first found success in hip hop circles. Minaj reached new heights of popularity when her album Pink Friday hit No. 1 on the billboard charts last winter. Tickets vary from as low as $37.35 to $368.15 for the best seats. Availability is limited, but seats are still available at most prices on Ticketmaster. The doors open at 7 p.m. Spears is famed for her entertaining and outrageous live shows, and the Femme Fatale tour should not disappoint. We hope all attendees will have a good time and ensure a safe ride home.
