A tropical storm has been issued for Louisiana coast from the mouth of Peal River west to Morgan City. As of yet, this does not include New Orleans or Lake Ponchatrain. Tropical Storm Debby formed early Saturday afternoon in the Gulf about 220 miles south-southeast of the mouth of the Mississippi River. Conditions are expected within the warning area in 36 hours.
