[caption id="attachment_2837" align="alignnone" width="425" caption="Russell Brand's creepy mugshot"][/caption] Russell Brand's mugshot may be hilarious, but the funnyman probably wasn't laughing when he turned himself in to NOPD this afternoon after a warrant was issued for his arrest. Brand threw a paparazzo's iPhone through an office building window and was charged with one count of simple criminal damage to property. The ex-husband of Katy Perry is currently shooting a film in New Orleans titled Land of God. Brand was released from Central Lockup in about an hour, after he posted a $5,000 bond. He is also expected to pay a $700 fine to the city for his anger management issues. Brand tweeted about the incident this morning, saying "Since Steve Jobs died I cannot bear to see anyone use an iPhone irreverently, what I did was a tribute to his memory." Rest in peace, indeed.
