Paul Simon and his wife, Edie Brickell, were charged with disorderly conduct in New Canaan, CT at their home Sunday evening. Police were dispatched to the home shortly after 8pm when they received a 911 hangup call. The police arrived and found enough probable cause to arrest the pair for disorderly conduct. Since it involves a husband and wife, it may fall into the realm of domestic violence charges, however, at this time Simon is only being charged with disorderly conduct.
The two were seen holding hands outside the courtroom with Brickell telling the judge that her husband is no threat to her safety.
