The New Orleans Hornets introduced their new General Manager, Dell Demps this afternoon at a press conference held at Emeril’s Delmonico. Demps, who is well regarded as a result of his work with the San Antonio Spurs off the court as well as his former talent on the court with the Warriors, Spurs, and Magic is a welcome addition to the organization and expected to produce strong results. The announcement of Demps’ arrival to the team along with recent news that Chris Paul intends to continue playing in New Orleans rather than submitting a trade request are positive indications that the Hornets may be shaping up to be strong contenders in the Western Conference next season.
