The NFL owners' organization is scheduled to meet Tuesday May 21, 2012 in Atlanta. Likely topics of discussion are expected to include the volatile circumstances surrounding the suspension of key officials and players arising from the Saints bounty scandal earlier this year. Finally, with a defamation suit in the pipes filed by suspended linebacker Jonathan Vilma, Mr. Goodell's actions of the past year are likely to be a large focus of the meeting. Controversy aside, the owners are also expected to discuss proposed amendments to the league's bylaws.
