As one of the nation’s biggest tourist hubs, New Orleans knows how to host a good time, so we’re not surprised that the NBA has come back to the Big Easy for the second time in four years to host the All-Star Weekend. We don’t want you to miss any of the jaw-dropping dunks, threes, and stunning displays of athleticism put on by the league’s greats, so we figured we’d remind you of the upcoming schedule this weekend so that you can watch LeBron, Steph, Durant and Davis rack up the scoreboard. Friday’s events include the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game on ESPN at 7pm ET (6pm local time), followed by the BBVA Compass Rising Stars Challenge on TNT at 9pm ET (8pm local). The celebrity showdown will feature the likes of Master P and Mark Cuban tipping off against Nick Cannon and Jason Williams, while the BBVA game, sponsored by the Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria, will air some the NBA’s youngest talent. Saturday will kick off with the year’s Hall of Fame Announcement at 11am ET (10am local time), and Commissioner Adam Silver taking on the media at 7pm ET (6pm local) right before the State Farm All-Star Saturday Night an hour later, which is set to include the Taco Bell Skills Challenge, the JBL Three-Point Contest, the Verizon Slam Dunk Event. The main event, the 66th NBA All-Star Game, is scheduled for 8pm ET (7pm local) on Sunday, February 19th. Anthony Davis will be starting frontcourt at the Smoothie King Center to rep the Pelicans. If you’re headed into town this weekend, keep your eyes peeled for players strutting about the French Quarter!
