Kenner police stopped Jonathan Wells, 39 of Zachary, for driving a heavily damaged vehicle and arrested him for his fourth DWI, reckless driving, no proof of liability insurance and operating a vehicle under a suspended license late Saturday night in the 1700 block of Airline Drive.
Wells refused to answer questions about the damage to his vehicle and when he refused to submit to a sobriety test, police obtained a warrant for two vials of blood for chemical testing. When his driver’s license was inspected, police found his license had been suspended for a year until Aug. 5.
