As an ongoing proactive effort to remove impaired drivers from the roadways, the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office will be conducting a DWI Checkpoint, Friday, October 25, in East Jefferson at an undisclosed location. The checkpoint will begin around 8pm and end at 2am. Never drink and drive. If you are planning on drinking, always use a designated driver.
