New Orleans hosts the 2020 College Football National Championship game tonight, January 13th. LSU will look to cap off a historic season with a win against Clemson. The city is sure to be packed with fans and media. Be prepared for heavy traffic and even an interstate shutdown. US President Donald Trump will attend the National Championship game it has been announced. Interstate 10 will be shut down at 6 PM, as Trump's motorcade makes its way to the Superdome. At this time, we do not know how long the interstate will remain closed down. New Orleans hosting the National Championship provides a lot exposure for the city, and promises plenty of excitement for locals in our own backyard. However, there will be plenty of traffic and crowds to deal with around the downtown area. With the interstate being temporarily shutdown down this evening, expect even more traffic in the surrounding areas.
