Portland Man Arrested for DWI After Crashing Through a House

Posted on Jan 21, 2013 in DUI/DWI, National Issues

New York City no longer holds the record for craziest drivers. Sunday morning a man was arrested in Portland, Oregon for suspicion of driving while intoxicated after crashing into a house. James Kelly Anderson was going 100 miles per hour when he crashed into Greg Buckland's home Sunday morning. Anderson plowed through five rooms before stopping in the back yard. Buckland says he is extremely lucky to be alive after his near death experience. 'It honestly looks like a bomb went off in there,' Buckland said. Anderson fled from the scene but was later apprehended for suspicion of driving under the influence of intoxicants, hit-and-run driving, reckless driving and criminal mischief.
