Colorado Shooter Faces 142 Charges

The suspected shooter in the Aurora movie theater killing spree was charged yesterday with 142 crimes.
James Holmes faces:
24 counts of First-degree murder (two counts per person killed);
116 counts of Attempted murder (two counts per person injured);
1 count of Using a deadly weapon in the commission of a violent crime;
and 1 count of Possession of explosive devices.
