BloomLegalTV: Personal Injury

Each and every case is different. Every case should be analyzed by an attorney. Nothing that’s said here today should be taken as actual legal advice. If you would like my actual legal advice, then you can call me at my office in New Orleans at 504-599-9997. Personal injuries are very serious, especially auto accidents. People are injured all the time and are not properly compensated by their insurance company.
We’ve recently received questions concerning personal injury, especially auto accidents. Here are some tips and information regarding what to do in case of a personal injury.
The first thing to do if injured in an auto accident is to call for an ambulance. You need to take care of yourself, your passengers, and anyone else that was injured around you. The police will come with the ambulance, which is a good thing. It is important, especially if there is an eventual settlement, for police to be present and fill out a detailed police report. When helping with the report make the best, most accurate statements possible about what happened. If there are any other witnesses that saw your accident, make sure to get their information. The police don't always do a good job about getting witness information or taking correct statements. We may need these people as witnesses in the future.
Get as much information from the situation as you can; take some pictures. Everyone carries a cell phone, and any evidence that will help document exactly what happened is important. Again, only do this if you're physically able to. If you're too injured to move, you need to wait for the ambulance to come. Once you've been treated for your accident and you're in a stable state, give us a call at 504-599-9997.
Bloom Legal does a good job with personal injury cases. We take each case extremely seriously: We'll send you to doctors to have you evaluated and send you to physical therapy, chiropractors, or whatever kind of therapy is necessary for your particular injury. We will guide you, step by step, through this process. The most important thing here is your health. We will make sure that you have a full recovery. Once your recovery is complete, then we will pursue a settlement from the insurance company.
If you have any other questions, feel free to give us a call at Bloom Legal, 504-599-9997. I'd be glad to talk to you about personal injury cases, as well as auto accidents, or any other kind of law.
