What the Story Covered
This follow-up WDSU segment (May 11, 2022) revisited the efforts of World Central Kitchen’s volunteers—myself included—traveling from New Orleans to Ukraine to deliver hot meals to those affected by war. We discussed how witnessing the crisis firsthand motivated action beyond donations and prompted us to go where the need was greatest.
