With the controversy surrounding the NFL lockout now behind us for the most part, Saints fans are gearing up across the city for the team's first pre-season game tonight at 8pm in the Superdome. [caption id="attachment_2354" align="alignright" width="300"] Photo Courtesy of NOLA.com[/caption] The Saints take on the 49ers tonight and will be looking to test out their new running backs including the newly acquired Darren Sproles and first-round draft pick Mark Ingram who will be competing with Pierre Thomas for the start. The Black and Gold defense is an area where the lineup is still largely in the works and tonight's game should allow frontrunners to emerge for starting positions.
