Ms. White's vehicle rear-ended another vehicle and when asked to leave the vehicle, fled the scene down Lapalco Blvd. Once troopers had caught up with White's vehicle, she exited and claimed she was a police officer and asked if the troopers wanted to see her badge. Troopers noticed an unrestrained child in the vehicle during the chase. Once calmed down, Ms. White, said she worked as a mental health therapist and that she was on medication. She failed a field sobriety test and had a 0.00% BAC. She was charged with DWI-child endangerment, hit-and-run, false personation of a peace officer, and more. She was released from the Jefferson parish Jail due to overcrowding.
