Walter Reed and Franklinton paster could be tied together criminally pending a civil suit

Walter Reed, former St. Tammany Parish District Attorney, was indicted back in April for corruption charges is now faced with the potential for new charges pending an amendment filed stating Mr. Reed was thrown personal injury cases from his long-time friend, Paster Jerry Cox. Mr. Roger Megee, who filed an amendment to his 2014 lawsuit claiming he was held in jail for over 100 days due to a “DA hold”, is alleging he was targeted by Reed based on him going to the FBI about the Cox-Reed financial connection.
