When Miami offered Reggie a central role in their offense to replace their aging backs, Ronnie Brown and ex-saint Ricky Wiliams, along with $10 million for two years, Reggie couldn’t resist. Reggie was eager to make an amicable exit using Twitter to wish goodbye to the crescent city: “To the city of New Orleans you will always have a place in my heart I love you guys [you] are my family & I will never forget our good times” and “I wish the New Orleans Saints the best of luck I will always be a fan! The team, coaches, and fans will be deeply missed!” The last time Reggie made waves on Twitter was when he mentioned recently drafted Mark Ingram as his de facto replacement, but he may have chosen the wrong back as his successor. The Saints have acquired the lightning fast Darren Sproles from the San Diego Chargers. His also offers a similar skill set to that of Reggie. He may be undersized, but Sproles is extremely talented on both offense and special teams. Not to mention his complete lack of connection to the Kardashian family. It is going to be a good year.
