District Attorney’s Legal Advisor Arrested for DWI

Posted on Oct 18, 2010 in DUI/DWI

Jeff Perilloux, who has served as a legal adviser to the St. John's Parish District Attorney for the last ten years, was arrested on DWI charges on September 23. District Attorney Tom Daley put Perilloux on leave from the office after learning of the arrest and has made it clear that Perriloux only held a part-time position in the office. In addition to DWI, he has been charged with public intimidation which involves threatening an arresting officer. These charges are made even more ironic by the fact that Perriloux was recently placed on Parish President Natalie Robottom’s Governmental Ethics Committee. Robottom’s campaign platform has been touting a tough code of ethics for parish employees. This serves as a prime example of how even the most unlikely of us can make unfortunate decisions. If you or someone you know has been charged with DWI, legal defense is important in order to refute the charges or have them expunged from your record.
