Lauren J. Ricard earned her Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the University of West Florida. Shortly thereafter, Lauren began working at Raymond James Financial in St. Petersburg, FL in 2011. While at Raymond James, Lauren developed a penchant for the securities industry as a regulatory compliance specialist. In 2014, Lauren’s career path guided her to Washington, D.C. where she worked as a regulatory analyst at FINRA. In 2015, Lauren joined Cantor Fitzgerald in Manhattan as a Compliance Officer for the Investment Banking Division and Equity/Debt Research Divisions. After participating in a rigorous S.E.C. examination, Lauren was promoted to the Legal Department.
In 2017, Lauren decided to return to New Orleans to attend Loyola University New Orleans College of Law. As a law student, Lauren has diversified her legal studies through classes, seminars, study abroad in Greece, law firm clerkships, and judicial externships at the Louisiana Fifth Circuit Court of Appeal and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana. Lauren currently is in her third year of law school and will graduate in May 2020.
