Hot off the Hulk Hogan sex tape scandal, Linda Bollea, Hulk's ex-wife,
was arrested for DUI in Malibu, California early this morning after
being pulled over for speeding. Ms. Bollea's blood alcohol level was
.084, just a small bit above California's legal limit of .08. Ms.
Bollea's representative told gossip website TMZ that she was leaving a
jewelry event where she had consumed a glass of champagne on an empty
stomach, and the combination of the champagne and antibiotics that she
was taking caused her to be above the legal limit. Ms. Bollea bailed
out of jail on $5,000 bond and denies that her drinking had anything
to do with the gossip website Gawker's release of a one-minute sex
tape showing Hulk Hogan, her ex-husband, with an unidentified female.
Hulk Hogan has threatened to sue Gawker if they don't remove the tape
from their website, which they claim was obtained for free from an
anonymous source.
