In its 28th year, the annual free French Quarter Festival has grown to an impressive size. This year the festival is expected to play host to hundreds of thousands of visitors (as confirmed by the large number of hotels throughout the city currently at capacity for guests) who will come to see hundreds of bands perform on 17 outdoor stages. This marks the first year that the festival will span an entire four day period having outgrown the 3 day run of years past.
