NOLA Equivalent of Punxsutawney Phil Predicts Early Spring

"T-Boy", a nutria at the Audubon Zoo, confirmed what his Northern counterpart, Punxsutawney Phil, determined today when both rodents failed to see their shadows. [caption id="attachment_1625" align="alignright" width="300" caption="Photo Courtesy of NOLA.com"][/caption] It would appear that both parts of the country are in store for an early spring. Something that is sure to be welcome in the city of New Orleans which is suffering from rare near freezing temperatures today.
