Vince McMahon Isn’t Dead: Here’s Why

vince_mcmahon_2.jpgLast night, at Philadelphia’s Wachovia Arena, Vince McMahon made an appearance as part of the WWE RAW — and afterwards, as he left the event and jumped into his limo, the car apparently blew up (here’s the video).  Today, various wrestling sites, as well as assorted radio stations and even some news shows, are reporting that Vince McMahon is “presumed dead.”

Okay.  He’s not dead.  Legally, if Vince McMahon had been the victim of a car bomb, there would be County Coroner’s office officials as well as other law enforcement officials investigating the scene today.  Evidence would be collected, and with bombings, this is a time-consuming process.  This investigation would be important not only to the police, but to arena officials and others — because if Vince McMahon’s limo had blown up, civil liability lawsuits would already be anticipated, especially by the arena officials, security companies, and others.

Cameras would be watching the evidence collection process, and the investigation’s movements would be shown on CNN, Fox, and MSNBC as well as other news sources.  Compare the WWE site this morning to CNN.COM.   It’s just not happening.

The media remains huddled around Paris Hilton’s jail facility, especially since Paris Hilton’s parents came to visit yesterday.   Vince McMahon is not dead.

For confirmation, read this morning’s article in the Wilkes-Barre Times-Leader: reporters interviewed arena officials as well as FBI representatives, where all this being a stunt is confirmed.

The only real newstory may be how many people are buying into this hoax.
